Browns Suffer 4-2 Setback
The Santo Domingo Tourists beat the Beantown Browns, 4-2, at Estadio Quisqueya. The win was due in part to shortstop Okura Abe, who was 2 for 2 with 2 doubles and a walk, while scoring 3 runs. Santo Domingo currently is in 4th place in the Appalachian Mountain League Europe and Islands at 61-75.

Santo Domingo took control in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Ghidey Rashidi hit a run-scoring single to make it 3-2, Tourists.

"I'm proud of the way we took care of business and got the 'W' today," Rashidi told the Santo Domingo Gazette. "Whatever it takes."
