Michelozzi Hits 2 home runs in Anchormen Win
A 4-RBI performance from the 26-year old first baseman Galimberto Michelozzi helped the Newport News Anchormen beat the Clifton Dons, 11-3. Newport News pitcher Rafael Quintero earned the win, hiking his record to 1-1. Daan Mastenbroek suffered the loss. The last-place Dons have lost 13 consecutive games.

Edward Frawley had a key at-bat with two out in the top of the fourth for Newport News. With runners on 2nd and 3rd and the Anchormen leading 2-1, he hit a 2-run single.

"We need to step it up, period," said an agitated Clifton manager Ken Hooper.
