The Akron Ambers topped the Mansfield Mohicans, 5-2, in Appalachian Mountain League action at Sprinters Ballpark. The game was highlighted by the performance of Akron pitcher Norris Neaves. The winner was Neaves. He threw 7.2 innings of 6-hit ball. The loser was José Hernández. The first-place Ambers are now 77-55, the Mohicans 76-56.
