Locomotives Win with Late Heroics
The Leeds Locomotives and Aberdeen Golden Sands rewarded fans hoping for a nail-biter.

The Leeds Locomotives handed the Aberdeen Golden Sands a 5-4 loss in 10 innings at Rhino Park. Jonathan Snow was the star on offense. He went 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Leeds reliever Ray Serna picked up the win to move to 3-0. Doug Hall suffered the loss.

The Locomotives got a clutch hit from pinch hitter Alastair Powell. In the bottom of the tenth, he hit a run-scoring single to center, to win the game for the Locomotives.

"What a buzz," said Powell after it was over.

Today's win puts Leeds at 71-60, while Aberdeen falls to 65-65.
