The home crowd had a good time watching the Aberdeen Golden Sands and Clifton Dons get after it.
Clifton Dons starter Sergio Sánchez pitched a good game to help his team take down the Aberdeen Golden Sands, 6-1. Dave Reyes notched his 1st save in 1 chances.
Clifton took a 5-0 lead on Andy Walker's 11th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which Walker hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Aberdeen pitcher Roberto Ramírez visibly frustrated.
Said losing manager Yoichibei Suzuki: "It's very easy to sit in an ivory tower and critique the pitching, but the bottom line is we need to score runs."
Clifton is now 51-64, Aberdeen 56-57.
