Electric Pick Up 7-2 Win Against Akron
|
Eindhoven pitcher Okura Arai had a large part in his team subduing the Akron Ambers, 7-2. The opposition could never mount much of a rally against the right-hander. In 7 innings, Arai surrendered 6 hits, while striking out 8 and walking 1. He allowed 2 runs. At 50-51, the Electric are currently second in the Appalachian Mountain League Europe and Islands.
In the bottom of the first inning, left fielder Alex Robertson had a grand slam home run for Eindhoven. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Electric on top, 4-0.
