The Camaguey Tinajon defeated the Akron Ambers by the score of 10-3, with the biggest share of the credit going to third baseman Ron Fields. Fields went 1 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 and driving in 2 for the Tinajon on the day. Steve Anderson had a big grand slam home run for the Tinajon in the bottom of the seventh inning.
