The Newport News Anchormen topped the Clifton Dons, 5-0, in Appalachian Mountain League action at Anchormen Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of Newport News pitcher Raúl Muñóz. The Anchormen saw their win-loss record go to 46-43. At the same time, the Dons fell to 40-49.
