The Fayetteville Braggarts picked up a win at Ballpark of Fayetteville, knocking off the Akron Ambers, 4-1. Starting pitcher Li-zhu Ho played a key role in the triumph. Picking up the save was Ryosei Shiroi, his 24th. The first-place Braggarts go to 52-34.

Ho was effective for Fayetteville, seldom allowing the Ambers to square up a pitch. The left-hander tossed 101 pitches over 8 innings. He limited Akron to just 1 run on 2 hits.
