Trendsetters Lose By a Run at Scottish
The Scottish Claymores downed the New Orleans Trendsetters, 2-1, at The Castle. Stellar pitching by Kenny Boone had a lot to do with it. The left-hander handcuffed his opponent all game. Isei Yano collected his 6th save. The loss makes New Orleans 5-12.

Scottish catcher Jack Thompson landed a blow when he belted a solo home run in the bottom of the second. It was his 5th home run of the season. With it, the Claymores took a 2-0 lead.

"I was a little disappointed," said New Orleans manager Alfredo Vega. "We could've and should've scored more runs."
