Newport News Earns 5-4 Win
The Newport News Anchormen gave their fans something to talk about with a thrilling, walk-off win.

The Newport News Anchormen used the hitting of second baseman Dong-kwan Cho to subdue the Mansfield Mohicans, 5-4. For the game, Cho was 2-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The win went to Giustino Fusarpoli in relief. His record improves to 3-2. Xing-fu Zheng took the loss.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With two out, Cho hit a sinker from Xing-fu Zheng for a run-scoring single. The Anchormen, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"The ending was a real humdinger," Cho told reporters after the game.

With the win, Newport News upped its record to 40-34.
