Leeds turned a good performance from starting pitcher Dan O'Halloran into a 4-1 triumph over the Chesapeake Bay Oysters at Ballpark of Chesapeake Bay. Leeds now has a record of 35-34 with the win.

Leeds used the timely hitting of Samuel Lapthorne to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Locomotives on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"I just trusted my stuff," said O'Halloran.
