The Fayetteville Braggarts beat the Santo Domingo Tourists, 3-2, at Estadio Quisqueya. Fayetteville designated hitter John MacVurich had the hot bat. He threw 7.0 innings of 6-hit ball. MacVurich picked up the win for Fayetteville, going 7 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 8-4. The 4th-place Tourists have lost 6 straight games.
