The Beantown Browns knocked off the Akron Ambers, 6-3, in Appalachian Mountain League action at Beantown Ballpark. Beantown pitcher and San Bernardino, California, native David Chambers had an outstanding performance. Beantown is now 36-29.

Tony Feliciano came through for Beantown with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the second. The left fielder went 2 for 5 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and collected 3 runs batted in.
