Browns Reel-In 3-1 Win Over Oysters

Beantown and Chesapeake Bay played a hard-fought contest.
In a low-scoring contest between the Beantown Browns and the Chesapeake Bay Oysters, James Hancorn, who is rated as the 10th best prospect by BNN, proved to be the difference. The Beantown right-hander earned props for his performance in the 3-1 Browns win. Jai-guo Nan earned the save, his 11th.
Had Marvin Miller not delivered a key base hit in the top of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 3rd, Miller hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 2-1, in favor of the Browns.
"James throwing strikes, pounding the zone, that is exactly what you want to see," said Beantown manager Orlando Valadez.
The win puts Beantown at 33-27 this season.
