Ambers Win with Late Rally
The Eindhoven Electric got a superb performance from pitcher Peter Roberts. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Akron. The Ambers won the game, 2-1. Roberts threw 7.1 innings of 4-hit ball. Akron pitcher Takahashi Sasaki earned the win, hiking his record to 5-1. Karel Rietkerk suffered the loss. Akron is now 33-23, Eindhoven 28-28.

The Ambers got a clutch hit from left fielder Sergio Blanco. In the bottom of the 11th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Ambers.

Akron manager Ramón Rodríguez called it "a pretty good win."
