Oysters Snatch Late Win
The Chesapeake Bay Oysters besoiled an otherwise fine performance by Clifton designated hitter Dan Gore by beating the Dons, 8-6, at Ballpark of Chesapeake Bay. Gore went 2 for 3 with 2 doubles and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Eppe Dirks finished to wrap up his 10th save. The 5th-place Oysters improved to 26-28.

Félix Morán, who is rated as the 87th best prospect by BNN, helped out the Chesapeake Bay cause in the bottom of the seventh inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the right fielder went 1-3 with a walk.

"The name of the game is scoring runs," Morán said. "We did a good job of that today."
