Tinajon Ballpark was the site of a tense game between the Leeds Locomotives and Camaguey Tinajon.

Camaguey overcame a superior effort from Dan O'Halloran to beat Leeds, 3-2. The Leeds pitcher threw 7.0 innings of 3-hit ball. Camaguey reliever Josuke Matsuda got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Tomás Soto was tagged with the loss.

Camaguey got a clutch hit from Luis Gallegos. The right fielder launched a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a kill shot.

"Our fans made themselves heard," said Gallegos.

So far in 2042, Camaguey is 23-30.
