Tri-Staters Drop 8-4 Decision to Tourists
The Santo Domingo Tourists earned a win at Estadio Quisqueya, knocking off the Evansville Tri-Staters, 8-4. On the bump for Santo Domingo was right-hander Fu-quan Feng. He had a starring role in the triumph. With the victory, the Tourists upped their record to 26-25.

Ghidey Rashidi had a big 2-run double for the Tourists in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Santo Domingo leading 1-0 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a cutter from Euan MacKinlay and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 8th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Tourists ahead, 3-0.

Santo Domingo manager Charlie Swan commended his team for "putting the pedal to the metal."
