Camaguey Tinajon starter Britt Puckett pitched a strong game against the Evansville Tri-Staters at Tinajon Ballpark, leading the Tinajon to victory, 5-3. Jorge Castillo picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-0. Luis Miguel Freitas was tagged with the loss. At 19-26, Camaguey is in last place in the Appalachian Mountain League Europe and Islands.

Yu-wei Li hit a run-scoring double off Luis Miguel Freitas in the bottom of the eighth, which put the Tinajon in front, 4-3. In addition to the double, Li had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.

"I'm just happy to help the team win," Li told the Camaguey Daily.
