Beantown and Leeds duked it out and the Browns came out victorious.
The Beantown Browns called upon starter Bill Miller, and he delivered, leading his team to victory over the Leeds Locomotives, 4-1. Miller yielded 1 run over 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 8 hits, walked 1, and struck out 4. His record improves to 3-0. Roy Little closed the door for Beantown, picking up his 1st save of the year.
Amdre Chandelier, the Beantown first baseman, contributed a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fifth inning to make the score 2-1, Browns. For the game, Chandelier went 2-4 with 2 singles.
