Spirited fans greeted the Clifton Dons for their clash with the Aberdeen Golden Sands.

The Aberdeen Golden Sands picked up a win at Clifton Stadium, taking down the Clifton Dons, 4-2. Starting pitcher José Figueroa was a big reason why. Figueroa yielded 2 runs over 7.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 1, and struck out 6. His record improves to 3-0.

Alfred McCutcheon came through with a big-time hit for Aberdeen. The pinch hitter smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to give his team the lead, 3-2. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

McCutcheon attributed the win to his team's "tenacity."

The Dons drop to 9-15, as their stumbling start to the 2042 season continues.
