Getting an impressive start from Kevin Miller, Mansfield beat Leeds by the score of 6-0. The victory makes Mansfield 13-10.

The Mohicans liked what they saw from Miller. The 22-year- old pitcher had a commanding presence on the mound, limiting the Locomotives to no runs on 5 hits over 8.1 innings, and striking out 6.

"Kevin was really attacking guys' weaknesses and he didn't leave a lot of balls over the plate," said Mansfield field general Pat Maxwell.
