Leeds Gets 3-1 Road Win
|
In a low-scoring tilt between the Leeds Locomotives and the Mansfield Mohicans, Petro Bouchard, who is tied for 2nd in the AML with a 0.75 WHIP, was the difference-maker. The Leeds left-hander spearheaded the 3-1 win. The save was credited to Dan Davidson, his 2nd. The win gives Leeds a record of 12-9.
Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Alastair Powell? The 22-year old right fielder Powell stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the eighth inning to put Leeds up, 3-1. For the game, he was 4 for 4, including 2 doubles and 2 singles.
