Ambers Rally to Eke Out Win
The Akron Ambers used a top-flight performance from 32-year old left-handed pitcher Lou Drewery to beat the Aberdeen Golden Sands, 2-1, in 11 innings. Akron pitcher Jeffery Owen got the win. He's now 2-0. Michael McCarver was tagged with the loss. Akron is now 10-5.

Hyun-jung Sin, who is tied for 5th in the AML in RBI with 10, had a direct impact on the outcome. Sin contributed a run-scoring ground out in the top of the 11th inning to put Akron up, 2-1.

"Tough loss," said Aberdeen manager Yoichibei Suzuki. "But we'll learn from it."
