The Eindhoven Electric eked out a 3-2 win versus the Mansfield Mohicans at Eindhoven Park. Nobody did more than pitcher Celio Miguis. He was terrific. The win moves Eindhoven to a record of 3-1.

Had Yosai Murata not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 3rd, Murata hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 3-2, in favor of the Electric.

"We had the game right there for the taking," said Mansfield manager Pat Maxwell. "But we decided not to take it."
