Riding the 2-hit performance of second baseman Eric Nelson, the Scottish Claymores got a road win against the London Underground, 11-5, in Game 3 of the Divisional . Nelson slugged 2 home runs, while adding 7 RBI and scoring twice for the Claymores, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 3 games to 0.
In the top of the eighth, Scottish right fielder Alan O'Toole had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and two out, O'Toole stroked a run-scoring single to left. It made the score 7-5, Scottish. For the game, he was 2-5 with a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2.
"It's still just a game," said O'Toole, "whether you win or lose."
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Pearson Metropolitan Park in London.
