Almost There: Mansfield On Cusp of Ambassador's Cup Triumph After 4-2 Win
The Mansfield Mohicans got a strong performance from pitcher Ralph Bonilla, who stymied the Niigata offense en route to a 4-2 win in Game 4 of the Ambassador's Cup. The Gigans could never get a bead on the right-handed Bonilla, who threw 8.0 innings of 5-hit ball. The Mohicans now hold a 3-1 advantage in the best-of-7 series.

In his 95-pitch effort, Bonilla allowed 2 runs on 5 hits over 8 innings. He walked 1 and struck out 8.

"When Ralph is on, he can really move the ball around," said Mansfield manager Pat Maxwell.
