The Ewa Beach Imperialists and the Kauai Monsters will take the Divisional to a decisive 5th game. In a must-win situation, the Imperialists beat the Monsters, 10-6, at Rison Grounds to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Ewa Beach designated hitter Ron Englert was 4 for 5 with 2 home runs and 2 singles, while adding 6 RBI and scoring twice.

Harry Hansen helped out the Ewa Beach cause in the bottom of the fifth inning with a run-scoring ground out. For the game, the second baseman drove in one run.

"We maximized our offense today," said Ewa Beach skipper Jonathan Cook. "That makes everyone's life easier."

Game 5 is scheduled for Saturday at Brewers Ballpark in Kapaa.
