Monsters Rally Past Imperialists for 2-0 Series Lead
The Ewa Beach Imperialists got 2 home runs from designated hitter Ron Englert but failed to take Game 2 of the Divisional from the Kauai Monsters. In a nice performance, Englert slugged 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3 but Kauai took the game by a score of 5-4 and now lead the best-of-5 series, 2-0.

Kauai fans at Brewers Ballpark were rewarded for their support of the Monsters with a nice win.

"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Kauai manager Hugh Watson. "It's usually not just one thing."

Game 3 is scheduled for Wednesday at Rison Grounds in Ewa Beach.
