Thrice as Nice: San Luis Rio Colorado On Verge of Sweep after Walk-off Win
The San Luis Rio Colorado Rapidos Blancos are now one game away from a sweep of the Mexicali Shmoes after a dramatic walk-off win at Ballpark of San Luis Río Colorado. Rapidos Blancos designated hitter Josh Whiskin played a part in the 8-7 victory. He went 1 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. San Luis Rio Colorado holds a 3-0 advantage in the best-of-7 Divisional.

The climactic moment came in the bottom of the ninth for San Luis Rio Colorado. That's when 20-year old catcher Daniel Hanson hit a 2-run home run off Kelsey Adamse to win the game. The home crowd erupted in celebration.

"It wasn't a pretty victory," said Whiskin, "but we got it done."
