In a low-scoring affair between Kobayashi Fireflies and the Mauna Loa Vulcans, pitcher Addy Wemerman was the difference-maker. The Kobayashi right-hander handcuffed the opposition, to help his team pocket a 2-0 win. The win elevated the Fireflies to 55-54.

Wemerman lasted 7 innings, allowing no runs on 1 hit. The Kobayashi right-hander is now 7-6.

"We believe in ourselves and we're willing to work hard. It's a good combination," Wemerman told the Kobayashi Daily News.
