Autobots Lose to Mahi-Mahi in Walk-Off
The Maui Mahi-Mahi weathered an outstanding game by Atsumi right fielder Ryutaro Kato to topple the Autobots, 11-10. Kato went 2-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. The Mahi-Mahi improved their record to 46-60 with the win over Atsumi.

The decisive blow was delivered by Jim Redmond in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a run-scoring double off 22-year old left-handed pitcher Manuel Herrera to win the game for Maui. The home crowd went nuts.

"Both teams had plenty of clutch hits," said Redmond. "It made for an exciting game."
