Chargers Earn Win with Late Rally
The Chula Vista Chargers outlasted Yosuke Sasaki and the Tijuana Saguaros, 12-11. Sasaki was impressive in the loss. The Tijuana left fielder belted 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. The win went to Jesús Sánchez in relief, making him now 4-3. Jack Scott took the loss for Tijuana. The Chargers move to 43-79 with the win, while the Saguaros drop to 50-72.

Up to bat in the bottom of the 12th, 22-year old left fielder Geoffrey Claus had a chance to be the hero. Tijuana pitcher Jack Scott wanted to foil that plan. But with one out, Claus hit a sacrifice fly. The Chargers had themselves a thrilling win.

Tijuana manager Manuel Aguilar said he was disappointed with the loss. "Whenever you score in double digits, you expect to win the game."
