|
Mexicali right-hander Min-bum Ch'oe pitched his team to victory over the Escondido Stone Brews at Field of the Stone Brews. The final score was 3-1. In 7 innings, Ch'oe surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 3. He allowed 1 run. Jelle Middehof, credited with the save, is now 32 for 34 in save opportunities.
It could have been a different outcome for Mexicali, had it not been for Sam Finnemore, the 22-year old third baseman . Finnemore contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the first inning to put Mexicali up, 2-0.
"Winning is the only objective," said Ch'oe after the game.
The setback makes Escondido 45-75.
