The San Luis Rio Colorado Rapidos Blancos powered past the Ensenada Las Brujas Malvadas, 10-4, at Ballpark of San Luis Río Colorado. José Ruíz went 4-5 with a triple, a double, and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once, to lead the charge. Kenny Holcomb got credit for the win, improving to 4-1. He allowed 2 runs on 3 hits in 2.2 innings. Robbie Rice closed the game out for San Luis Rio Colorado, earning his 2nd save.

With San Luis Rio Colorado leading 4-3 in the bottom of the sixth, Ruíz batted against Ensenada pitcher Bing-zhong Wa. Ruíz hit a fastball to right for a 2-run triple. His 2nd triple of the season put the Rapidos Blancos on top, 6-3.

"Scoring runs is scoring runs," said San Luis Rio Colorado skipper Anthony Rodríguez. "It's important to have different ways to do it."

With the win, San Luis Rio Colorado pushed its record to 62-50.
