Claymores Earn 2-1 Road Win Over Havana
|
Thomas Connolly pitched a dandy of a game to help the Scottish Claymores beat the Havana Leones, 2-1. At 63-48, Scottish is in first place in the Imperial League Trans Atlantic.
Gerardo Morales had a direct impact on the outcome. Morales contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the seventh inning to put Scottish up, 2-0.
"Thomas did a heck of a job," said Scottish manager Germán Hernández.
