Mahi-Mahi Stymied by Swamp Dragons, Sai
|
Osakasayama took on Maui in front of a lively crowd.
The Osakasayama Swamp Dragons picked up a win at Kokua Gardens, knocking off the Maui Mahi-Mahi, 8-0. On the mound for Osakasayama was right-hander Sekien Sai. He played a key role in the triumph. The Swamp Dragons now have a record of 52-38.
Sai imposed his will on the Mahi-Mahi, scattering 3 hits over 6.1 innings while striking out 9. The right-hander upped his season record to 8-4.
"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Osakasayama manager Shingen Okamoto.
