Brown Hits 2 home runs in Fireflies Win
Due in large part to shortstop Ed Brown, the Kobayashi Fireflies sunk the Atsumi Autobots, 7-6. Brown belted 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. The third-place Fireflies now have a win-loss record of 44-46.

Brown contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Kobayashi in the top of the fifth. With his team trailing 3-1, Brown took a fastball from Bob Barnes and stroked the home run to left. His 14th home run of the season allowed the Fireflies to leap in front, 4-3.

Brown said afterward that "winning is what it's all about."
