The Kailua Hanso stymied the Mauna Loa Vulcans, 5-1, at Blue Birds Ballpark. Joseph Sellers had a good day at the plate. He went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs for Kailua. The winner was Jesús Conchu in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Blake McKinley took the loss. Dennis Cochran earned the save for Kailua, his 11th of the year.
