Swamp Dragons Rally to Nose Past Shirakawa
A 3-RBI performance from designated hitter Yunosuke Matsumoto, who is tied for 10th in the HL in home runs with 21, led the Osakasayama Swamp Dragons to a win over the Shirakawa Halberds, 9-8. Patrick McCabe got credit for the save for Osakasayama. It was his 16th of the year. Osakasayama's record now stands at 51-38, placing them first in the Hawaiian League Ninja.

With the bases empty and two out in the bottom of the eighth inning, catcher Kimitada Koyama delivered big for the Swamp Dragons. Osakasayama was trailing 8-7 when he belted a solo home run.

"We'll put this win in the can," said Matsumoto, "and go after the next one."
