Lakota Rally For 4-2 Win
|
The Sioux Falls Lakota knocked off the Lincoln Emancipation, 4-2, in Rocky Mountain League action at Emancipation Stadium. Sioux Falls pitcher and Kainan, Japan, native Masujiro Ohayashi had an outstanding performance. The Lakota now have a record of 64-60 with the win over Lincoln.
Millard Martin had a direct impact on the outcome. Martin contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the 11th inning to put Sioux Falls up, 3-2.
Martin told a Sioux Falls News reporter that he felt "ecstatic" after the win.
