A 3-RBI performance from center fielder Peer Talboom, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2038 draft, led the Niigata Gigans to a win over the Glendale Skyelanders, 6-5. The first-place Gigans, at 72-53, lead the Rocky Mountain League Pacific by 3 games.

With the game tied, 4-4, in the top of the seventh, Talboom had a key at-bat for Niigata. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, Talboom hit a run-scoring single off Craig Spence, making the score 5-4, Gigans.

"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Talboom said.
