Shizuoka Upended, 4-0, by Kyoto
|
The Kyoto Rodan topped the Shizuoka Anguirus, 4-0, in Rocky Mountain League action at Kaiju Coliseum. The game was highlighted by the performance of Kyoto pitcher Brendon Rosales. The third-place Rodan sport a record of 60-60.
Kyoto took advantage of an error in the bottom of the seventh inning. The game was tied, 0-0, when Takehide Kichida hit a run-scoring single that was misplayed. It put the Rodan in front, 1-0.
"There's never a lack of effort in our clubhouse. We're willing to do the little things to get the win," Kichida told the Kyoto News.
