|
Namuko got a strong outing from Fred Coffey as the Puckmen defeated the Grand Rapids Rafters, 3-2, at Puckmen Ballpark. Coffey yielded 2 runs over 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 1, and struck out 6. His record improves to 5-4. The 4th-place Puckmen sport a record of 54-64.
Joseph Oulton, the 27th overall pick in the 2042 draft, aided the Namuko cause with a run-scoring ground out in the bottom of the first. For the game, the left fielder went 2 for 4 with 2 singles.
"The want-to is there for our guys," said Grand Rapids manager Alberto Flores. "We'll get this thing turned around."
