Walk-Off Win Makes Namuko 51-61
|
Namuko Puckmen starter César González pitched a strong game against the Henderson Fighting Scotts at Puckmen Ballpark, leading the Puckmen to victory, 3-2. Namuko reliever Dan Wilson snagged the win, upping his record to 2-1. Cameron Gow shouldered the loss. Henderson, at 62-50, has lost 4 straight.
The decisive blow was delivered by Oscar Simons in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a solo home run off 25-year old right-handed pitcher Cameron Gow to win the game for Namuko. The home crowd went nuts.
"It's a thrill to get that kind of win," González said.
