Olympians Lose Late, 10-9
The El Cajon Virus besoiled an otherwise fine performance by Nagano center fielder Sadahige Kokawa by beating the Olympians, 10-9, at Ballpark of El Cajon. Kokawa went 4-5 with a home run, a triple, and a double, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3. The Virus are now 59-48, while the Olympians fall to 42-65.

Félix Díaz was the walk-off hero for El Cajon. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Virus designated hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"Crazy game," said Díaz after it ended.
