The Mexicali Shmoes topped the Gakidou Onryou, 6-4, in Baja Cali League action at Shmoes Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of Mexicali pitcher Guy Besemer. In 6.1 innings, Besemer surrendered 3 hits, while striking out 9 and walking 2. He allowed 2 runs. Jelle Middehof, who leads the BCL in saves with 27, earned the save for Mexicali.
