The Yasu Storks pounded the Waimalu Nene, 14-2, at Waimalu Grounds. Yasu left fielder Eugene Valturri had a game-changing performance. He went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs, while adding 7 RBI and scoring twice. The 4th-place Storks now sit at 35-48.

Valturri contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for Yasu in the top of the fourth. With his team trailing 2-0, Valturri took a splitter from Dan Eassson and stroked the home run to right. His 24th home run of the season allowed the Storks to leap in front, 4-2.
