Despite a fine performance by right fielder Falco Olthuis, the Ewa Beach Imperialists lost to the Kauai Monsters, 6-3. Olthuis was 3 for 3 with a home run and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Kauai is first in the Hawaiian League Archipelago with a record of 45-33.

With one out in the top of the sixth, Falco Olthuis had a chance to do some damage. Ewa Beach was trailing 2-0, but had runners on 1st and 3rd. Olthuis came to the plate against Albert Johnson, and hit a sacrifice fly. But it was not enough to complete a Ewa Beach comeback.
